Al In the 1940s there was a group of brothers in Wilkinsburg, PA that started a produce business. Morris "Al" Kubrick was one of the brothers who had a dream to start a business. After several years, Al and several of his brothers moved their business to Monroeville, PA. Their business started in a single location across from the Miracle Mile Shopping Center. In the early 1970s, they grew into a second location behind the Monroeville Mall. That is where Al spent most of his time. Al was the leader of the pack who ran the day-to-day operations. He also diversified the business, adding landscaping.
In 1988, Jim and his wife Marsha and two sons, Jim, Jr. and Justin moved into a new home, built on seven acres in Plum Borough. Jim's father "Bob" Beall sold Jim the property.
