This landscaped home was a new construction on a large private lot. The homeowner wanted to design the landscaping around the wooded lot and have an informal rustic look. The large beds were layered with different perennials and pockets of annuals to provide seasonal color.

A free formed lagoon style swimming pool was incorporated into the landscape with a paver pool deck, boulders and a wood burning fire pit.

Update 2021:
After several years of enjoying their backyard, the homeowner wanted to show off how his landscape had matured since the initial installation. Over time, they added more perennials for color and incorporated some new lighting features. Tiki lights were placed around the pool create a tropical look while being functional and keeping the bugs away in the evening. New LED lighting was added in the water feature that could change the mood of the outdoor space and controlled by mobile app. Large tropical plants were installed yearly to maintain that tropical look. These photos show how a landscape will only look better over time when properly maintained. Our team has been maintaining this property annually since the original installation in 2014.
The homeowner is already planning for phase three which will include a future pool house and swim spa with build-in bar. They will be able to enjoy their pool space all year long. Stay tuned for future photos of this next phase.
